Our foundation believes the best way to keep youth focus off of guns and drugs, but specifically guns, is to keep them interested on activities that simulates and motivates and reveals their hidden talents...Are you ready to make your mark on Atlanta’s film and TV industry? Is your child or teen you the next Tyler Perry or Shonda Rhimes or would like to be? ATL is in need of young stars whether its behind the camera or in front of the camera.

Acting Up, Guns Down!
Healing Forever and Saving Lives Foundation is looking for Male Teen Youth within Atlanta Metro area to participate in a monthly workshop centered on the Television and Film Industry here in Georgia, to evoke interest of an exciting and rewarding activity to deter and try to reform behavior associated with acquiring fire arms to avoid gun accidents. We want to keep young male teens from obtaining a Felony and saving lives too, at the same time....

THE WORKSHOP DETAILS:

(1) Overview and Existence of Foundation

(2) Discussion on the TV/Film Industry here in Georgia

(3) Opportunities and How to get involved as a "Background Extra" and some make money!

(4) Understanding Set Life, Production Terms and Expectation while on Set

(5) Doing some Monologues with the young men

(6) Mini Photo session of each young man so that they can have proper images to submit
