Meet and Greet with the winner of our Healing Forever and Saving Lives Foundation’s First “Liberty-Tyree Automotive Memorial” Scholarship on Sept. 26 at Gwinnett Technical College in Lawrenceville. The student’s name is James Hoang. James, saw the information about our small scholarship on the school’s website in the Spring and then went to our foundation website to check us out and read Davon’s story and what our mission and goal was about and it touched and resonated with his life and regarding mistakes. He felt the monetary reward would be useful in acquiring the needed tools and so he applied and the school was deeply touched by his submission of his essay and selected him as the recipient of our scholarship. Also, during our meeting the foundation rewarded the young man with a $50 Gift Card to suit retailer D & K Suit City, to assist with purchasing business attire to have for his upcoming interviews, he is actively trying to acquire.
