GRIEF SUPPORT

Healing Forever and Saving Lives Foundation understands when tragedies happen, the grieving process can be tremendously difficult to handle and process. We are please to have a partnership with Dr. Anita Green, as an outlet to those who would like to have a connection with a Grief Counselor during their time of need. Reverend Doctor Anita Green serves as an Associate Pastor at Trinity Tabernacle Baptist Church in Mableton, GA under the leadership of Rev. Portia Wills Lee.

 

She is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and a graduate of The University of Baltimore with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature.  She is a May 2009 honors graduate of the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) in with a Masters of Divinity degree with a concentration in The Psychology of Religion and Pastoral Care. While at ITC, she served as an officer with the Student Christian League and was a member of the Biblical Studies Club. She also served as the Vice-President of Theta Phi International Honors Society at The ITC. Dr. Green enjoys serving as a Teaching Assistant and frequent guest lecturer in the Pastoral Care Department as well as the Baptist denominational classes at the ITC.

 

In May, 2015, Rev. Green received her Doctor of Ministry degree, Magna Cum Laude from the ITC. Her Dissertation is titled – The Mourning After: How a Model of Aftercare Support Assists in the Healing Process of African American Women Experiencing Grief.

 

Rev. Dr. Green is employed as a Hospice Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator. She currently serves as the Chairperson of the Professional Advisory Group for Chaplaincy at the Grady Memorial Hospital, which oversees the educational and clinical training of students in the internship and residency groups. Dr. Green currently serves as a Board member of The Willie A. Watkins Foundation, where she serves on the Grief Support Team. Dr. Green is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and she is the Chaplain for the Women of Distinction, Incorporated. She is also a member of the Cobb County Chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.

 

Dr. Green's motto is, "only what you do for Christ will last."

Sarah Kambegova is a native of Ossetia, Russia and 26 years here in the United States living in Lawrenceville, GA, Sarah has over 10 years in ministry, Sarah Kambegova's experience has resulted in a true passion to disciple others in love and to exemplify an open and honest relationship with God. Minister Sarah, is an awesome teacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Her transparency, in teaching biblical truths and using her life as an example, is for the purpose of assisting other believers in developing a vulnerability and transparency with God, which leads to unparalleled intimacy and relationship. She deeply desires that the body of Christ experiences being in the presence of God, is in position to hear his voice, and experiences worship that is a part of the daily lifestyle of a believer.

 

Minister Sarah is an anointed bible teacher who uses real world applications of the Word and personal experiences, interwoven with humor and wisdom, to help others overcome challenges with the direct application of the scriptures. She exemplifies and encourages living victoriously, in the face of adversity, by daily study and worship within God's presence. Minister Sarah, loves doing mission work that takes her abroad internationally, as she loved to spread the word across the waters.

 

With her special ministry gift to reach into the lives of many people, we felt her heart could touch our youth. Minister Sarah shows the reality of Godly living paired with Christ-like humility and how to use faith to create change, regardless of the difficulty. Her style of teaching illuminates her trials and triumphs to teach, to lead, and to break the personal bondage's that people commonly experience. Sarah's greatest joy is "Giving" and her most satisfying work is "helping others". Because of these qualities and her beautiful heart and spirit, her presence and attachment with Healing Forever and Saving Lives Foundation will be to minister to youth who are incarcerated due to gun incidences and encourage them to avoid such device.
